Was heisst denken?
(Was heisst denken? S 57.)
"Where you no longer see the one side as the one side, you have also lost the other side from view. The difference between the two sides, that which lies in-between, is at the same time closed over."
The one-sidedness Heidegger is concerned about here is constitutional or ontological. It is the one-sidedness of the gods or the titans in the gigantomachia.
The great question is: what cure can there be from such ontological bias (which, on the one hand, represents an impoverishment and restriction of being and, on the other, is an essential possibility rooted in being itself)?
The great problem is: since it is the essential character of this bias not to know "das, was dazwischen liegt", not to know the space of the door, how can it venture, or be led, from itself elsewhere?
