About this map of Gigantomachia

Information in cult, art and theory concerning the battle of rival first principles at origin may be organized in a series of ways: according to the times and cultures in which different descriptions of it appeared; according to the authors and artists in whose work such descriptions have been made; according to the phenomenology of the battle as may be assembled from these different descriptions; according to the logic of the battle as may be distilled from these different descriptions; according to the historical events which illustrate the working of the gigantomachia; and so on.
